Hey Dr. Stinson!

It was truly exciting to see you and the group of future educators/leaders on today! Primarily, I want to thank you for choosing Jefferson Davis High School to observe today for your new program... congratulations also! I know that today was an "off" day for our student body due to the student misbehavor and fights that happened shortly after we conversed in the hallway this morning. I hope that your group was not in harm's way. Do know that I take pride in our school and we motivate the students towards positive behavior constantly. I can't apologize enough on behalf of our school. I just pray that your first impression was not the lasting impression; we have professional administrators and a truly gifted faculty and staff. Please join us again. Thank you for all that you've done that has helped mold me to be an educator! Your personality and belief in students will forever live on in every student you've interacted with. I may not have been the best student and advisee in undergrad but it did my heart a world of good just knowing that you actually remember me! That speaks volumes and it's evident that you truly have a divine concern for your students to be successful in this career. You are amazing and thanks for all you've done for me and for future educators!

Warmly,

Euri

Thank you so much for all the resources that you share! They are awesome, and valuable.

This article was really helpful because cell phone is a big distraction in my classroom. I'm going to try the brown paper bag method. I think that would work in my class without confrontation with the student.

Thanks

Regina
